Being Patient

Sometimes when we set goals or start to make changes in our lives, we want the results to be almost instant. There’s nothing wrong with that. But I wonder what would happen if we were willing to wait and be a little more patient.

  • Is it possible the THINGS WE WANT might be delivered to us in a different or even better way than what we could even imagine…?
  • What would happen if we missed the EXCITEMENT of ANTICIPATION … you know, like waiting for Christmas when you’re a kid…?
  • Is it possible that if we MADE OUR CHANGES instantly that we could miss out on a key experience that might naturally be part of our journey, like meeting a new friend or getting to go somewhere we’ve never been before…?
  • “The BIGGEST THINGS we ask for in life rarely happen exactly when we ask for them, nor do they typically come from who or where we expect. They usually come a bit later, from someone or somewhere we didn’t even know existed when we first asked, as a result of some weird turn of events that were impossible to foresee. Chill out! Be patient. Enjoy the moment. And let our friends, employers, and partners off the hook. Patience is cool, really cool.” – Adapted from Notes From The Universe

I wonder what other benefits you can think of for BEING PATIENT …? Feel free to share them in the comment box below. We love hearing what you think!
